We are supporting Fr Nicholas Wheeler who left his parish in Camden Town to work as Priest Missioner in Cidade de Deus, one of the most disadvantaged communities of Rio de Janeiro. No more than 3% of young people in this community complete secondary education, a quarter of residents are unemployed and an average income is just £50 a month. Fr Nicholas is working for the Anglican Episcopal Church of Brazil under the umbrella of USPG.
